The UTS Bachelor of Accounting has the aim of producing potential business leaders of the future via an accounting career. Bethany College has had seven students graduate from this prestigious program!
The main benefits to students who are selected into the Bachelor of Accounting are a tax-free scholarship valued at $54,000, a year of full-time work training, and great career prospects with the major employers who support the course. No BAcc graduate has ever missed out on a job, and these job offers are generally made by April of the students’ third and final year of study.

- completing the New South Wales Higher School Certificate in 2021
- performing consistently well at school
- can demonstrate leadership qualities and commitment to community through leadership, service or work activities completed in Year 11 and/or Year 12.

Early Admission is UOW’s early offer program for Year 12 students. Rather than relying on an ATAR, UOW will assess your Year 11 results as part of your application, and will support you in earning a place at UOW before you sit your first exam, meaning less stress and a guarantee you can start uni.
Women in Trades Needed – Billions To Be Added to Our Economy
A shortage of skilled workers in various trades and industries was already predicted for the next decade even before the virus hit and it’s since become clear that rethinking “business as usual” is a priority. Encouraging higher female participation in trade industries and in the uptake of apprenticeships or traineeships will not only help to combat future skills shortages but could also create new opportunities for women to deal with the unique economic challenges they face due to the impacts of the virus.

University of Sydney Mathematics Prerequisites
The University has mathematics course prerequisites for some courses. This means that to study certain degrees, students will need to achieve a Band 4 in the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) Mathematics (not Standard mathematics) or equivalent.
If students don’t meet the mathematics requirements, they may be able to:
- complete the Mathematics MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) and exam
- apply for another course and then transfer into their preferred course in their second year (after successful completion of an accepted 1000 level mathematics unit).

TAFE NSW and the University of Technology have partnered to bring your students an innovative pathway towards a great engineering qualification. By successfully completing the Dip of Engineering–Technical (MEM50212) course and an integrated UTS Foundation Maths subject (35010) students will receive 24 credit points (equiv of 6 months) for a range of UTS Engineering programs.
