UAC – Begin Applications for Study in 2022

You can apply for undergraduate study as well as Schools Recommendation Schemes, Educational Access Schemes and Equity Scholarships

UAC – Educational Access Schemes (EAS)

Institutions acknowledge that difficult circumstances can prevent students from reaching their true academic potential, particularly if their educational performance has been affected by long-term disadvantage. Educational Access Schemes (EAS) can help.

UAC – Equity Scholarships

Equity Scholarships (ES) help financially disadvantaged students with the costs associated with tertiary study. Details of requirements for individual scholarships can be found on the institution websites.

UAC – Schools Recommendation Schemes (SRS)

Schools Recommendation Schemes (SRS) are one way institutions make early offers of undergraduate admission to Year 12 students. They do this by using criteria other than (or in addition to) the ATAR. You must apply through UAC for undergraduate admission in 2021–22 to be eligible for SRS.

UTS – Year 12 students2022 Bachelor of Accounting Information Webinar

Wed 12 May 2021   6-7pm

The UTS Bachelor of Accounting has the aim of producing potential business leaders of the future via an accounting career.

The main benefits to students who are selected into the Bachelor of Accounting are a tax-free scholarship valued at $54,000, a year of full-time work training, and great career prospects with the major employers who support the course. No BAcc graduate has ever missed out on a job, and these job offers are generally made by April of the students’ third and final year of study. That might be only 3 years away from where you are now.

Other key benefits of this program, that set it apart from cadetships or other co-op courses, are that it takes only 3 years to complete and that students in the course study, work and play together as a close group of friends throughout that time. Email   carin.alberts@uts.edu.au

Fee-Free Apprenticeships are a great way for students to launch their careers

There’s never been a better time to start an apprenticeship in NSW. The NSW Government is paying the course cost for 100,000 new apprenticeships – meaning apprentices undertaking a government funded apprenticeship no longer face a student fee of up to $2000.

Apprenticeships are a great career pathway. They combine on-the-job training with classroom study to give you the skills and experience employers are looking for. Apprenticeships generally take around 3-4 years to complete, and apprentices earn a salary while they learn.

There are more than 120 different apprenticeship courses available in NSW, in a range of industries including construction, cooking, aviation and automotive.

Under its fee free apprenticeship initiative, the NSW Government will pay the course fee for 100,000 new apprentices who commence their training from 1 July 2018 to 30 June.
