UTS Adjustment Factor Caps

You may apply for and receive adjustment points from more than one admissions scheme (check each scheme for eligibility criteria) but some faculties at UTS apply a cap to the total number of adjustment points that you can receive for their courses:

Business – 10 point cap

Design, Architecture and Building; Engineering and IT – 13 point cap

UTS Science Aptitude TestEntry pathway through aptitude assessment

When: Monday 28 June 2021, 10:00 am (and 1:30 pm subject to registration numbers). Please be available for both sessions.

The aptitude assessment is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their potential, and possibly secure an offer to study at UTS Science. The assessment is designed to assess your analytical and critical thinking skills. It is a general knowledge-based assessment and there is no need to study for it.

HSC Preparation Courses for English Standard, Advanced Students and Extension 1

CCE is offering HSC preparation courses covering novels from Great Expectations to Emma, and The Crucible to 1984. They have courses that revise Shakespeare’s plays including The Merchant of VeniceHenry IV Part 1 and The Tempest. They also cover the poetry of Keats and T S Eliot and films ranging from Billy Elliot to Good Night and Good Luck.

There’s also a course on The Craft of Writing and an English Advanced Exam Preparation Course.

The two-day online program (running 9am-5pm on both days) is open to Year 10, 11 or 12 female high school students in New South Wales who have a genuine interest in studying Information SystemsActuarial Studies or Banking & Finance at the UNSW Business School.
