From the Assistant Principal

The holidays provide an excellent opportunity for the girls to reset and rejuvenate after what has been a great term for our girls as we continue to enjoy the easing of restrictions. It is often at the end of term that we see young people experience a heightened sense of emotion. However, for many young people this is not the only time that they may experience this heightened sense of emotion. Dr Annemaree Bickerton and Toni Garretty are offering a FREE workshop that will assist parents and carers in the development of skills and strategies to navigate what can often be a challenging time. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are available to attend. I am sure spaces will fill quickly so if you are interested register soon.

Farewell

As we come to the end of Term 1 and I finish up in my role as Assistant Principal, I wanted to thank you for your support throughout my time at Bethany.  It has been an absolute privilege to work collaboratively with you in the best interests of your daughters.  Bethany is a very special community, for me it has been a place where I have encountered both Martha and Mary. It is a place of welcome, hospitality and service. Whilst it is easy for us to get caught up in our busy lives it is important that we remember that we must find time in our lives for prayer and contemplation, as Mary did. I pray that this Easter season you and your families find that time and have a happy, holy and safe Easter. May the futures for you and your daughters be bright.
