Game Training Roadshow
On Wednesday, 26 July 2017, Bethany College was host to the Game Training Roadshow, which aims to teach students about the rich and rewarding world of making computer games and other interactive computer environments.
This is the first year that Information Software Technology has offered the workshop to our students and we had 30 9IST students attend and participate in the 3 hour workshop, involving both instruction and hands-on experience in using Unity 3D. These students now have the tools to begin creating their own computer games, worlds and utilising these materials and skills for their upcoming assessment.
I am incredibly appreciative of the efforts of the staff at Game Training for providing our school with such excellent training and resources and for helping to raise the profile of Information Software Technology within the student body.
