Music Performance Evening

The Music Performance Evening on 10 November was enjoyable for both the performers and audience members alike. Involved in this concert were members of the College Band, the College Choir and participants in instrumental and vocal lessons. It was a great way for students like myself involved in music to showcase our talents and for other members of the school community to be delighted and entertained by our performances. It was also a wonderful opportunity for us to show our parents what we had been practising and working on throughout the year, with the guidance and support of our teachers/tutors. The evening opened with the College Band playing “Tequila”, followed by impressive vocal, woodwind and piano solos, a beautiful performance by the College Choir, who sang “Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail)”, and a variety of entertaining guitar ensembles. The finale was a joint performance by the College Band and Choir, who sang and played “Shake it Off”. There were many different types of performances throughout the evening, from classical to jazz to pop and everything in between. It was certainly a memorable evening and a great experience for all the students who took part in the performances. Many thanks to all the tutors and teachers involved – we greatly appreciate your time and help – and also for the staff and members of the College community who helped to make this night a great success.
