Year 12 Biology – University of Sydney Excursion
On the 21 August, the two Year 12 Biology classes travelled to Sydney University with Dr Trent and Mrs Lipari for a fun-filled day of practical workshops. The day offered first-hand insight into the practical world of Biology, allowing us to perform experiments and investigations such as dissections of cow’s eyes and sheep’s brains, testing real blood, viewing organisms under the light microscope and encountering live animals such as snakes and lizards. The excursion was extremely beneficial and insightful as it enabled us to consolidate our knowledge in a fun and engaging way. A big thank you to Dr Trent and Mrs Lipari for making this day possible.
