Junior CGSSSA Soccer Report

On wednesday the 8th of May we attended the CGSSSA Soccer Gala Day which took place at Morrison Bay Park. The girls showed focus, determination, hardwork and sportsmanship  from the very start. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best start for the first game since it was our very first time playing as a team, but after 2 games our team started to gel as a team and work as teammates on the field to win the other 3 games. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the semifinals but the girls still had their heads up all the way through the day. Thank you to Mrs Donnelly for taking us, coaching us and inspiring us during the game.

Senior CGSSSA Soccer Report

On Wednesday 8th May, the Bethany College senior soccer team competed in a round robin draw at the CGSSSA Soccer Gala day in Meadowbank. On this day, we played against various other Catholic schools from the Sydney region and due to Mr Kipriotis’ fantastic coaching, we were able to make it into grand finals and verse Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in claiming the first place title, however,  it was an amazing effort by all the girls in the team who put in hard work to progress so far throughout the day.
