2021 BETHANY SWIM TEAM TRIALS

On Monday 15th February, students of Bethany took part in the College’s Swim Team Trials. This day enabled the selection of students to represent the College at the Sydney Catholic College’s (SCC) Swimming Carnival. There were many wonderful individual performances throughout the day, in particular Tameeka Johnson of Year 10 and Scarlet Cameron of Year 11, who broke multiple event records. Thank you to the parents who attended the Trials to support their daughters and to Mrs Barrass, Mrs Feeney, Ms Munsie and Mrs Summons for their assistance and support of the day.

CGSSSA SPORT

Bethany College entered an Open team in the CGSSSA Softball Tournament held last week on 12th February, at Stanhope Gardens Softball Field. The team improved with each game they played, coming up against some highly rated teams in the later rounds. Unfortunately, the team was bundled out in the Playoffs. All the girls played with enthusiasm, good sportsmanship and are to be congratulated on their behaviour throughout the day.
