SCS Weekly Sport Update

Congratulations to our Junior and Senior Oztag, and Intermediate and Senior Volleyball Teams on finishing in the top four of their division this term and progressing to the semi finals, which were played on Thursday 1st December.

Great effort by all teams with three out of four progressing to the grand final that afternoon, with the Senior Oztag Team missing out in a close match, going down 3-2.

Our Intermediate and Senior Volleyball, and Junior Oztag Teams competed in the Grand Final coming up against some tough competition.

Congratulations to the following students in the Junior Oztag Team who won the Grand Final against BOSCO (8-2) and have made it through to compete at the Sydney Catholic Schools Championships next Tuesday 6th December.

The Junior team was well supported by our Intermediate and Senior Teams and joined the girls on the field after the game to congratulate and celebrate with them.

Congratulations to our Intermediate Volleyball Team who were also crowned winners of their division (2-0), progressing to the Sydney Catholic Schools Championships next week. The girls showed great teamwork and determination on court!

Unfortunately our Senior Volleyball team was defeated in the Grand Final, going down 2-1. They fought hard right until the end and showed great sportsmanship!
