Reserved HSC study space
Marrickville Library wants you to ace the HSC and believe that the comfort, quiet (and the WiFi) at the Library is perfect for study. So, we have reserved table space in the area near our school resource collection for your study sessions at the following times:
Monday to Friday between 11am -1pm and 3.30pm-6pm (until 5 November)
Additionally, if you need a quiet room for group study, library staff can also book you into the library community room or the Marrickville Town Hall ground floor meeting room for free.
Watch The Spectacular Now…or study? Why not both.
Marrickville Library has a wide range of free school resources that can be borrowed for three weeks. And, you can borrow up to 30 items. Our school resources include HSC subject study guides, past exam questions and more. If you can’t find what you’re after, ask staff for help. It could be a good idea to balance your study resources with some lighter material every now and then, so your brain can have a break. Perhaps watch something like The Fault in our Stars or The Spectacular Now – which, are both in our DVD collection.
Do you need a hand with school work or assignments? Then come to drop-in tutor sessions run by AceTute, a professional tutoring company. Sessions are free and no bookings are needed. Homework Help runs during school term dates.
