What’s Been Happening in Religious Education

The Catholic life of our school had the most amazing start with our opening school mass at St Mary’s Cathedral.  It was a truly beautiful celebration which not only marked the start of our 2018 school year, but also the Silver Jubilee of Bethany College.  We were fortunate to have past principals, representatives from the Sisters of Charity and the Sisters of St Joseph, past staff members, alumni, parents and grandparents present to share the celebrations with us.  The Cathedral was at absolute capacity, our students were impeccable in their uniforms and really showed the wider community, just how wonderful our Bethany girls are.  There will be a number of other occasions throughout the year that will enable us to reflect on and celebrate all that we have achieved over the past twenty five years – and there is certainly much to celebrate!

This week begins our Lenten journey for 2018 and I would like to share with you a message from Archbishop Anthony Fisher:

God bless,
