Year 12 Modern History Excursion

“On the 12th of June 2018, Year 11 students studying Modern History, went on an exciting excursion to the Sydney Jewish Museum in Darlinghurst, where we sat through intriguing seminars, an engaging interview with a Holocaust survivor and went on a fascinating tour of the museum that focused purely on the Jewish perspective of the Holocaust. This great experience enlightened us and introduced us to the new topic that we are learning this term. The one on one experience with the Holocaust survivor was truly incredible, his advice to our class was inspiring and to hear his story was a privilege. I truly think we gained a lot from this excursion, from life lessons to new knowledge, this excursion was definitely one to remember!”
