Year 9 2015 Forensic Science Workshop
On Wednesday 2 December, all the Year 9 Science classes participated in a Forensic Science Incursion where students had to look at evidence which had been left from a crime scene. The victim was a high school girl named Sally who had been found murdered in a bunker. The incursion included many fun and educational stations as well as challenging activities at each station. The students of Year 9 had to think together and undertake the role of a Forensic Scientist in order to solve the crime like who the suspect was and the items that were found at the crime scene. Overall this incursion was an exciting experience from the microscopic technology used to the footprint and fingerprint matching.
